SAM heartbeat

Description

The SAM heartbeat groups the current details of the SAM and sends them to mobi.guider. The SAM heartbeat:

• Is sent automatically, at a set interval (e.g. every six hours)
• Can be requested manually, from the SAM Management module

Purpose

The SAM heartbeat ensures that mobi.guider stays informed on the current status of the SAM. Based on the received data, mobi.guider can send updated data back.

Example

The SAM sends its current key parameters to mobi.guider. If changes were made to these parameters since the last heartbeat, mobi.guider will send the updated parameters back to the SAM.
